Child & Adolescent Counseling

Our clinicians have expertise in helping deal with the issues that are troubling your children and adolescents, preventing them from having a full and happy life.

Young people face many learning challenges that often manifest in the educational environment. Attention deficit disorder (ADD), behavioral problems, adjustment disorders and issues related to problems at home can interfere with daily life and cause children a great deal of stress.

At our center, many of our staff specialize in treating children and adolescents. Depending on age and issues, NCC therapists may utilize play therapy and verbal techniques, and will usually involve family and educational professionals to insure a thorough understanding of the individual child’s needs.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Psychodynamic Therapy
