I have a strong background serving individuals of all ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, and with diverse diagnoses including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Ultimately, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration and for individuals to develop skills to manage difficult emotions, to overcome obstacles, to strengthen relationships, and to connect to their power and potential.
I work with the human landscape of kids, teens, and adults. Together, we work with whatever shows up in the therapeutic space- all feelings are welcome. I aim to provide a safe and supportive setting in which people can feel their emotions, express themselves freely and identify personal challenges in their lives. My therapeutic range incorporates psychodynamic, CBT/DBT, and mindfulness-based therapy.
I am a graduate of the Silver School of Social Work at New York University where I studied psychodynamic and analytic therapeutic traditions. I am a believer in the human capacity for insight and corresponding change. The journey though, is never easy, simple or convenient. Securing therapeutic support allows for a greater chance of success and opens up the space needed to explore and grow.
